How do your prices compare with other wiper cloth companies?
Jack Oldham Textiles Ltd are under contract from some of the largest textiles producers within the UK and Europe. We purchase their over manufacture and excess stock . We believe we are consistently cheaper than any other wiper supplier. If you factor in the quality of our products and free UK delivery, we believe we have the lowest prices for "new material" wipers and polishing cloths in the UK.
Wipers made from old clothes!
Depending on the source of the old clothes, some may have been laundered before use, but this is reflected in the cost. The cheaper the cost, there is a possibility that they many have not been cleaned before sale. Most old clothes wipers contain, buttons, zips and seams, and are manufactured from various fabrics, and offer no consistancy between one wiper and the next.
This is the main reason, Jack Oldham Textiles has never sold wipers made for old clothes.
Another problem with using old clothes as wipers, are most modern domestic washing products contain chemicals inhibitors, that stop the material from collecting dirt. While this is good for clothes. Once made into wipers, this has a detrimental effect on their ability to clean or soak up liquids.
Our customers that have changed from wipers manufactured from old clothes, to our "new material wipers" have experienced savings between 18% and 25% on their current wiper spend.
We only use a small amount of wipers, are you able to supply us?
Yes of course, we would be happy to supply you with a single pack of wipers.
Can you Supply large orders?
We always carry a minimum stock of 100 to 150 tons of wiper and polishing cloths in stock.
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes, providing you are on one of our existing van routes, we offer free same day delivery. If you’re not on one of our van route, we still offer free UK mainland delivery, subject to minimum order quantities.
How quickly will I receive my order?
If you are on one of our van routes, and phone your order before 11.30am we aim to deliver your order the same day/ next day. Larger quantity are despatched via pallet on a next day and two day delivery cycle.
What size are the cloths and wipers?
We cut all our standard wiper and polishing cloths at 45cm x 45cm (18inch x 18inch)
We require a specific size of cloth, are you able to manufacture to our size and specification?
Jack Oldham Textiles cut all our wipers and cloths, in house and are able to cut to your specific size.
Are all your cloths and wipers manufactured from new material?
All our wiper cloths unless stated are manufactured from new material. unless otherwise stated
Are we able to collect from your warehouse in Derbyshire?
Yes, phone or email your order, and we will have your order waiting for you to collect from our loading bay. Our despatch team will also load your order onto your vehicle.
